General Library services

Here are some of the things you can do at the library...

Wireless Internet
The library offers free, ultra-fast public wi-fi, and public computers with high-speed internet access.

Membership
A library card entitles you to borrow books, DVDs, music, and many other items.  It also gives you access to a wide selection of eContent including newspapers, magazines, movies, music, books and more. Borrow from our collection of over 20,000 items ... and if we don't have it, we'll find it for you.

The Sundre Library strives to ensure there are no barriers to enjoying all that the Library has to offer. As such, Sundre Municipal Library cards are FREE to any person living in Sundre and the surrounding area. If you have a library card, you will be allowed to take materials home with you, as well as access many of the library's online resources from home.

Registering for a library card is simple. Simply stop by the library and ask staff for a library card. If you are under the age of 18 parental approval is required, so please stop by the library with a parent or guardian to pick up your library card.

If you'd like to help us continue to keep our library memberships free and accessible to all, we encourage you to check out some of the ways you can support our library (under the 'About Us' tab). Monetary donations are tax-deductible.

The Sundre Library ... MORE than you imagine!

Programs
At the Sundre Library, we're all about literacy – not only reading, but being literate in numbers, arts, and social skills. Many of our programs and projects for children are designed to increase their competence and confidence. If you would like to see your child in some of these activities, please contact us.

The Sundre Library also organizes and offers a wide range of programs for all ages: including teen programs, genealogy classes, 1:1 help with your computer & mobile device, technology programs, craft programs for adults, author talks, touring art exhibitions, displays by local artists, and special holiday/event programming.

Alberta Wide Borrowing (ME Libraries)
