Gather and Use Community Statistics
December 6, 2011 - 4:04pm — colleen
It’s helpful to gather statistics from your community and other fields when planning programs and services and when building a case for your library. Statistics about literacy and reading, health and education, and infrastructure and culture can all be used to show the need for – and the impact of – library services. To find information about your community, start by visiting your town or county’s website, and search for statistics about your population and its demographics.
Find links and resources for gathering community-focused data on the Collect & Use Statistics page.
