We invite member public libraries to borrow display banners and "tech toys" from Parkland for use in their libraries or by library staff. Equipment is sent on your weekly van run delivery and returned to PRL Headquarters on your next weekly van run, or can be booked for up to 2 weeks for most items and up to 3 months for Victor Readers.

Laptops

• Inventory Lab - contains 1 laptop with Windows 7, 1 wireless barcode scanner, and 1 wireless router.
• Multimedia Laptop - runs Windows 7 and includes screen capture programs Camtasia and SnagIt, plus headset for voice recording and READ poster creation program.
• Training Lab 1 - contains 5 laptops with Windows 7, 1 projector, and 1 wireless router.
• Training Lab 2 - contains 5 laptops with Windows 7, 1 projector, and 1 wireless router.

Tablets

• iPad 1 - includes Bluefire and Txtr apps for reading library eBooks. This version of the iPad does not include a built-in camera.

• Kobo eReader – allows downloading/reading of eBooks, including library titles.

• Sony Touch eReader – allows downloading/reading of eBooks, including library titles. Includes Touch Screen.
