Indigenous

Parkland Regional Library is located in Treaty 6 territory.

We recognize the Cree, Niisitapi (Blackfoot), Saulteaux, Métis, and Nakota Sioux peoples whose footsteps have marked this place for centuries before us.

We acknowledge the Samson, Ermineskin, Montana, Louis Bull, Sunchild, and O’Chiese First Nations who are our neighbours and call this region home.
