With a library membership, you have access to a world of books, magazines, newspapers, DVDs, Blu-rays, eLibrary content, public computers, and more that is yours to discover. A library membership is one of the choices that you can make for yourself and your family.
Ponoka Jubilee Library is a member of Parkland Regional Library, which encompasses most of southern Alberta, and therefore your card can be used at any of the PRL libraries (see our Location and Hours page for a full list of member libraries). Your Ponoka Jubilee Library card is also a ME card, which you can use to borrow materials from libraries throughout the province. You must pre-register your card at https://melibraries.ca/ to access the other library systems. Note that the types of items each library will lend to ME patrons, as well as fines and loan periods, vary by library. Ask the library staff for more information! Items can be returned to any participating Alberta library, and will be forwarded to their home libraries at no charge.

You will be notified when the item is available, either by phone or email.
Overdue & Lost Items
Overdue charges are $0.25 per day per item. You will continue to incur charges until your fines are of equal price of the item, at which point the item will be marked as ‘lost’.
