Parkland Regional Library System is located in Treaty 6 territory.

Our journey towards understanding Indigenous history, culture and practices has only begun. Parkland Regional Library System endeavors to bring Indigenous and non-Indigenous peoples together to build community.

We recognize the Cree, Niitsitapi (Blackfoot), Saulteaux, Métis, and Nakota Sioux Peoples whose footsteps have marked this place for centuries before us.

We acknowledge the Samson, Ermineskin, Montana, Louis Bull, Sunchild, and O’Chiese First Nations who are our neighbours and call this region home.
