Services
Parkland member libraries support strong, healthy communities and provide central Albertans with access to information and learning opportunities. No single library can go it alone in this constantly changing environment. That’s where a regional library system comes in.
Parkland provides services and support to enable libraries to meet the informational, educational, cultural, and recreational needs of their communities. Parkland services include:
- Consulting by professional librarians
- Computer and information technology support services
- Technical services and acquisitions
- Resource sharing and reference services
- The eLibrary with access to subscription-only online resources
- PRL headquarters collections
- Programming boxes and Book Club Kits
- An in-system van delivery service
For a detailed description of each of these services, view Parkland's services overview.
