eAudiobooks From NetLibrary

Parkland Regional Library is pleased to announce that it has partnered with The Alberta Library (TAL) and NetLibrary to offer eAudiobooks to our member libraries.

What are eAudiobooks? Essentially, they’re the same books on tape and/or CD you’ve come to love and enjoy, but with a difference—you can download these eAudiobooks at home (or in the library) and listen to them on your computer or your portable media player.

All current PRL library members have access to this service. There is no need to create an account. Your library barcode number and PIN are all that is needed to get you started. Upon entering this information you will automatically have an account created within the NetLibrary system.

You can browse the catalogue, or search the NetLibrary site, for the eAudiobook that you are interested in checking out.

Click here for step-by-step instructions on downloading eAudiobooks to your home computer or to a library computer, as well as instructions on transferring them to MP3 players.

NetLibary has provided short demonstrations to help you learn more about eAudiobooks.

Check our eAudiobook Facts for more information, and help on choosing a portable media player. NetLibrary also has a comprehensive list of Frequently Asked Questions for eAudiobook users.

AttentionIf you are having problems, support is available at NetLibrary’s help number, 1.800.758.5995, or eptech@ebscohost.com.
